Golf Channel Announces 2009 Solheim Cup Broadcast Schedule

Golf Channel has announced that it will present a live coverage of Solheim Cup to be held at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois, between Friday, Aug. 21 and Aug. 23. Golf Channel will broadcast all three days of the event, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. ET Saturday and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ET Sunday.

The women’s version of the Ryder Cup – The Solheim Cup will see 12 Americans compete against 12 European-born players over three days of match-play competition. Golf Channel will provide televised coverage from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and GolfChannel.com will then take over live coverage for two hours, before the network returns at 4 p.m. for the conclusion of play.
