Cox Orange County partners with ESPN to bring ‘Elite 11 Quarterback Competition’ for the twelfth year. The four day event that unites the nation’s premier high school quarterbacks and focuses on improving their skills both on and off the field.
The ESPN Elite 11 is the most prestigious quarterback event designed to give the best high school quarterbacks the tools to prepare for the next level and beyond.
Boys & Girls Club youth in Aliso Viejo and San Juan Capistrano, Cox Orange County arranged for 30 enthusiastic kids to watch the ESPN Elite 11 athletes practice at Soka University on Wednesday, July 21.
Heisman Trophy winners Jason White, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Troy Smith and Tim Tebow as well Drew Brees, Jay Cutler, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, JaMarcus Russell, Trent Edwards, Matt Schaub, Matthew Stafford, Mark Sanchez are the high profile players to participate at this event.
This year’s participants included 12 high school phenoms and six Division I college quarterbacks from around the nation.
