Comcast, The U.S. Olympic Committee Jointly To Launch The U.S. Olympic Network

The U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) and Comcast Corporation have signed an agreement to launch the first-ever cable television network, U.S. Olympic Network. The channel is expected to be launched in 2010 will be dedicated to the excitement, competition and values connected with the Olympic games.

The Olympic Network (USON) will use television, video on demand and online to bring the viewers about American athletes performances. USON will deliver live coverage of championship competitions, news reports, commentary and interviews.

Video on Demand content will also be available to subscribers to watch their favorite Olympic sports and also Internet customers will be delivered with the Olympic Games online with news, highlights, and event coverage.
