AT&T has launched AT&T U-verse in St. Louis last year and is celebrating its first anniversary. AT&T U-verse TV is available in Arnold, Florissant, Manchester, Maplewood, St. Peters and Wellston and has reached 355,000 living units in the area after the launch and is determined to expand this to many communities.
This is possible due to the Video Service Competition Act passed in March 2007 by the Missouri General Assembly that allowed AT&T to launch its services.
The service include digital Television though Internet Protocol-based television (IPTV) service and offers more than 75 high-definition channels with digital video-recording (DVR) facility and high-speed internet service.
